The site of the new building, marked out ready for work to start.

History

Hesketh Bank Christian Centre has existed in the village since 1972. At first we met together in people’s homes, and then later on at the Village Hall. In 1984, we moved into our current building, on our site just off Moss Lane.
We are a family of people of all ages which meets to worship together on Sunday mornings and throughout the week. We aim to be a living and relevant church, bringing the truth of God's love and power to ordinary people. We welcome those with a strong faith, a little faith, and those with no faith at all.
We believe that God has a plan for every man, woman, boy and girl, and that life is meant to be about more than just survival and should be lived to the full. We know that a life like this is only found in a living relationship with Jesus Christ!
We are a group of people like you: ordinary people, with real lives, real problems, real dreams.
